1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address and password (or authentication details) when you sign up.
• Resume content: information you enter or upload (name, contact details, work history, education, skills, photo, and similar resume data), plus cover letters you create.
• Usage data: pages visited, approximate location derived from IP, device/browser type, and product interactions, through analytics tools.
• Communications: messages you send via our contact form or email.

2. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the resume builder and related features.
• Save your drafts and cloud resumes when you are signed in.
• Power optional AI features (for example rewriting bullets, summaries, or job-match tips) using the content you provide.
• Respond to support requests and important service notices.
• Understand site traffic and product usage with analytics so we can improve Resumight.
• Send product tips or offers only if you opt in (for example, the email offers checkbox in the builder).

3. Where your data is stored

Drafts may be stored in your browser on this device. When you are signed in, resumes and account data may be stored with our cloud database provider (Supabase). Hosting and delivery are provided by Vercel. You are responsible for the accuracy of content you create and for any resumes you download or share with employers.

4. AI features

If you use AI tools in Resumight, relevant text you submit (such as resume sections or job descriptions) may be sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate suggestions. Do not submit information you are not comfortable processing for that purpose. AI output may be inaccurate; review it before using it on a resume or application.

5. Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics to measure visits, popular pages, and general usage. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies and collect aggregated usage information. We do not sell your personal information. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how analytics work.

6. Service providers (third parties)

We use trusted providers to operate Resumight, including:

• Vercel — hosting, delivery, and web analytics
• Supabase — authentication and cloud data storage
• Google Analytics — website analytics
• Google Gemini — optional AI writing features

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms and only as needed to provide their services.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers as described above, if required by law, or to protect the security and integrity of the Service. If you export or share a resume or cover letter yourself, that sharing is under your control.

8. Data retention and deletion

We keep account and resume data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Browser drafts remain until you clear them or clear site data. To request deletion of your account or associated cloud data, email us at support@resumight.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

9. Your choices

• Update account details from your account settings when signed in.
• Choose whether to use AI features.
• Opt out of optional marketing emails if you previously opted in.
• Request access or deletion by contacting us.

10. Children

Resumight is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International users

If you use the Service from outside the country where our providers operate, your information may be processed in other countries that may have different data-protection rules.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
